Our Grüner Veltliner Herrschaftszeiten comes from the vineyards around the Pfefferbüchsel. The vines are up to 35 years old and grow on sandy loam with a high lime content in the soil. The grapes are selected with the greatest care, harvested and gently processed into what the connoisseur then finds in the bottle: a fruity-peppery-spicy play on the palate with animating acidity. In order to preserve the fruitiness, the GV Herrschaftszeiten is spontaneously fermented in steel tanks and stored on the fine lees for six months. This aging wine is perfectly able to reflect the region and the distinctive touch of the Pluschkovits winery.
